This season in my life is all about heart adventures. As a matter of fact, today is my birthday, and this whole topic completely sums up what this past year of my life has been all about learning. It hasn’t been easy, but now that I can see the light ahead, my moments of feeling failure and hopelessness suddenly carry great purpose. The lessons I have learned from struggle are irreplaceable.
So, now I can see in the seemingly lowly times of life, there lies great purpose and great lesson that has a way of refining us into the people that we dream to be, and that we must become before God actually gifts us a life where those seemingly far away dreams become our daily reality. Our dreams really can happen, you know. But, are you willing to become the kind of person who can carry your dreams out?
Some people say “you just have to work really hard”, but as a Christian, dreams are more than a destination, but a fulfilling of purpose. It’s so much more than running yourself dry until you reach a destination, with the advantage of having luck, or being born with good genes. It’s about living- heart, soul, and mind- through each season. And so, if we aren’t ready to be that person with that sort of responsibility and influence that comes with the territory of landing that dream career- or even more importantly- fulling the purpose that God has given us, then seasons of heart-work p e r s i s t onward. Because, at the end of the day- all God really judges is our heart. He blesses us with more, when we see what He has already gifted us and we make the most of it.Do you want your dreams to come true? Our dreams start in our heart. They start with who we are, not what we accomplish.
Dance in the gifts and dreams he has already made true. And, be willing to work hard. The most important thing is your heart- which is sustained through trial by communication with Him. And, by communication with Him, we are guided where to go and what to do.
